A Jasper High School student had to be subdued and then arrested after he attacked one of his parents during a meeting at the school on Thursday afternoon. Jasper ISD Superintendent John Seybold said school resource officers quickly took control of the situation, and then Jasper police officers came in to assist. Following his arrest he was transported to Jasper Police Headquarters. His name has not been released. Fortunately, there was no report of any injuries. Seybold said “Our school resource officers are here for a reason, and we’re not going to put up with this.”
