A teenage girl was lucky to escape injury in a Wednesday evening crash in south Jasper County. It happened shortly before 7:00 on Highway 62 near County Road 812 in Buna. DPS Sergeant Shana Clark said the girl, whose name was not released, was driving a 2016 Ford Fiesta northbound when she, for an unknown reason, went off the highway and struck a culvert and then a tree.
