There were no injuries after a Jasper County Sheriff’s Department patrol SUV collided with a City of Jasper work truck late Monday morning. It happened shortly before 11:00 at the corner of Milam and Burch Streets.
Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard said the truck was on Burch and stopped at the stop sign when the deputy turned onto Burch off of Milam and hit the truck.
The Texas Department of Public Safety investigated the accident.
