The Jasper Bulldogs district baseball game against the Bridge City Cardinals originally scheduled on Tuesday night has changed. The game will be on Wednesday due to a shortage of umpires. Coach Steven Westbrook informed KJAS on Monday that the game will have to be Wednesday at 7:00 instead of Tuesday night.
The Junior Varsity will play at 4:30 PM with the Varsity game to follow. This is the second time this season umpires are not available for a game in Jasper. Westbrook said that there were several umpires injured in games last week and that in order to assure two umpires for the game the date had to be changed.
KJAS will have the broadcast of the game live with the pregame show beginning at 6:45 PM on Wednesday.
