HOPKINS COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A homeowner shot and killed a man who broke into a Hopkins County home Tuesday.
A Ring doorbell camera showed a man identified as Buck Clary yelling and striking the glass front door, according to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office.
Clary reached inside the home after breaking a portion of the glass, prompting the homeowner to fire a gun through the door; the shot struck Clary, the sheriff’s office said.
Hopkins County EMS transported Clary to a local hospital, where he later died.
The sheriff’s office is still investigating.
