LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - A man was arrested in Longview Monday after police accused him of stabbing another man multiple times.
According to the Longview Police Department, around 5:52 p.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Hawthorne Avenue where they learned two men had been involved in a “verbal altercation.”
The LPD said the victim was stabbed multiple times during the altercation. The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to the LPD, the suspect was identified as Catalino Garcia Ramirez, 53, of Longview and arrested. He was booked into the Gregg County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
