SHREVEPORT, La. - Do what you can to beat the heat Tuesday as we're in for yet another scorcher. The National Weather Service-Shreveport has a heat advisory is in place from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday for the entire region. Our afternoon heat index values could reach 106. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s.
