Hardin County Sheriff Mark Davis said Tuesday that an investigation has determined that a deadly shooting which occurred during the noon hour on Monday was justified.
Davis said 44-year-old Freeman Oliver Jones was demanding money and threatening family members. He then got a steel pipe from his vehicle and when he walked back into the house an un-identified family member shot and killed him with a shotgun.
Sheriff Davis said the family believes Jones was high on drugs.
Davis went on to say that their findings will be presented to District Attorney Rebecca Walton.
