MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) - A Marshall man was arrested Tuesday after police say he shot at multiple people.
Tyterrius Qwantrell Lafayette, 28, of Marshall, was held Tuesday at the Harrison County Jail on a bond totaling $25,000 for a warrant charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to jail records.
Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, Marshall police responded to a report of gunshots in the 700 block of North Loop 390 Highway, where they encountered witnesses who reported being shot at, according to a press release.
In coordination with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and the Joint Harrison County Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force, Marshall police arrested Lafayette Tuesday and transported him to the county jail, according to the release and jail records.
Charged with a second degree felony, Lafayette potentially faces between two and 20 years in prison.
No injuries were reported.
