A Leesville father and his live-in girlfriend have been arrested and charged after the beating death of a 4-year-old girl. According to police, they responded Wednesday afternoon to a home where the child was severely injured and unresponsive. Police say the child was taken to a hospital and she died on Thursday morning. Arrested were the biological father, Logan Miller, 24, and his girlfriend, Terrie Gray, 48. Police say both have been charged with Homicide and Cruelty to a Juvenile. Investigators say the death was cardiopulmonary arrest and intracranial bilateral hemorrhaging as a result of child abuse. They said the child also had broken bones, burns on her face, chin, and neck, and bruises all over her body.
