VERNON PARISH, La. (KPLC) - An Evans man is behind bars after admitting to molesting a young child, deputies said.
The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about sexual contact with a victim who was 7 to 8 years old, Chief Detective Rhonda Jordan said. Detectives interviewed Eddy Glen Jarrell, 66, who admitted to the inappropriate contact.
Jarrell was arrested Friday on charges of molestation of a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile, and sexual battery - rubbing/touching. He is held at the Vernon Parish jail with a bond set at $750,000.
