NATCHITOCHES, La. — An early morning structure fire claimed a home in the 200 block of Sisson Road on Thursday.
Emergency responders from the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office (NPSO) and Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District No. 6 were dispatched to the scene by the NATCOM 911 Center at approximately 5:48 a.m.
Upon arrival, fire units found the residence fully engulfed in flames. Despite efforts to extinguish the blaze, deputies confirmed that the structure is a total loss.
Fortunately, the homeowner was reportedly at work when the fire broke out, and no injuries were reported at the scene.
Cpl. J. Dranguet responded to the incident on behalf of the NPSO. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
