Jasper County Judge Mark Allen and Kirbyville Mayor Frank George have each issued declarations of disaster following devastating flooding that began on Tuesday night and continued into Wednesday morning. This clears the way for both Jasper County and the City of Kirbyville to request state and federal funding and other resources.
