PALESTINE, Texas (KLTV) - A Crockett man who formerly coached at Oakwood ISD is accused of having a relationship with a student. Tracy Lynn Cooper, 33, is charged with indecency with a child and improper relationship between an educator and a student. Oakwood ISD Superintendent Russell Holden said the administration immediately placed Cooper on leave when they were made aware of the allegations and began their own misconduct investigation. Holden said the ISD is working with law enforcement, but that only limited information can be shared publicly in order to protect student privacy. He said Cooper is no longer employed with the district at this time.
