Captain Larry Pulliam of the Jasper County Sheriff's Department said Saturday that the couple who was on the run in connection with the alleged theft of a travel trailer near Roganville have been captured.
Pulliam said the arrest of Cody Thompson, 42, and Samantha Fountain 39, both of Kirbyville came early Saturday morning when they were apprehended and by deputies with the Tyler County Sheriff's Department in Woodville.
Sheriff Chuck Havard said the trailer the two were accused of stealing was found earlier this week near San Augustine County. However, up until Saturday, the two had eluded officers and been on the run.
