We’ve reported on many different types of scams, but this is a new one. The Jasper-Lake Sam Rayburn Area Chamber of Commerce is warning of a scammer trying to sell booth spaces for the upcoming Fall Butterfly Festival at Sandy Creek Park. The chamber says do not fall for this. The only entity that reserves booth spaces is the Chamber of Commerce. To make arrangements for a booth space, you can call the chamber at 409-384-2762 or visit their office at 500 S Wheeler St in Jasper.
