Beaumont Police are investigating after a northeast Beaumont fire station was hit and damaged by gunfire. Fortunately, no firefighters were struck. It happened early Sunday morning at Fire Station #2 on Helbig Road, just north of East Lucas Drive. Bullets hit and broke glass windows and a metal door.
