A Buna man went to jail on Sunday after the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department said it was discovered that he had been stealing electricity from the Jasper-Newton Electric Cooperative.
The report said the man, 43-year-old Donny Lucky, lived in Cougar Country.
According to the report, when deputies arrived with an arrest warrant, Lucky fled into a wooded area, but he was soon captured.
