Polk County Today is reporting that a Lafayette, Louisiana man is undergoing treatment after he was struck by a pickup truck as he was riding his bicycle in Polk County on Monday afternoon. It happened on Highway 146, southeast of Livingston. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Jarrad Pittman, 47, was bicycling southbound when he was hit from behind by a Dodge pickup truck driven by 77-year-old Danny Moye, of Livingston. Pittman was flown by medical helicopter to a Houston hospital.
