ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - A motorcycle crash involving a pedestrian happened Wednesday night (August 28) around 9:12 p.m. on Hwy 71 and 3rd Street, according to the Alexandria Police Department. APD said the pedestrian and the motorcycle were traveling southbound in the left lane on Hwy 71 when the crash occurred. Both the pedestrian and the motorcycle operator were transported to a local hospital with major injuries. The investigation is still ongoing.
