LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - A Longview man is accused of having homemade child porn after investigators searched his phone last week. Austin James Lee, 21, was booked for possession of child pornography on Aug. 21. According to his arrest affidavit, investigators were led to the suspect due to “homemade” videos coming from multiple IP addresses that all had Lee in common. The affidavit said the LPD Special Victim’s Unit received a tip from the ICAC unit in Dallas on Aug. 21 about the illegal videos. Multiple search warrants were obtained, and Lee agreed to come to the Longview station for an interview. During the interview, a search of Lee’s phone found a sexual image of a child under 10, along with several similar images in the “trash” section of photographs, the document said. Lee was booked into the Gregg County Jail and bonded out for $50,000 the following day.
