ROWLETT, Texas (KLTV) - The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued an Amber Alert for a missing teenager reported to them by Rowlett Police Department.
Colton Kahan, 15, of Rowlett, was seen around 7:52 a.m. walking away from the 4700 block of North President George Bush Hwy in Rowlett. Police found surveillance footage confirming that Colton exited a DART train at 9:15 a.m. and boarded a Trinity Railway Express (TRE) train headed toward Irving/Fort Worth. The Rowlett Police Department is actively working with partnering agencies to locate him.
Colton has high-functioning autism, disruptive mood disorder, ADHD, and anxiety, and his safety is a serious concern, Rowlett Police Department said in a statement. He is approximately 5′11″ tall, weighs around 180 pounds, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue shorts, and red Crocs.
