- Clayton Lamar Cole, passed away peacefully on October 13, at the age of 85, in Alexandria, Louisiana. Born on April 12, 1940, in Glenmora, Louisiana.Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, Louisiana, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service for Clayton will take place on Friday, October 17, at 10:00 am at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, Louisiana. Following the service, interment will be at Wisby Cemetery in Cravens, Louisiana
- Sarah Jane Keel Stephens, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on December 4, 1933, in Newton, Texas. Funeral service at Myers Colonial Funeral Home today at 11:00 AM, with a public viewing starting at 9:30 AM. Pastor George Lee Glass will officiate the service. Following the service, Sarah will be laid to rest in Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
- Billy Joe Lockhart, Sr., 79, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday morning, October 11, 2025. He was Born on September 7, 1946. Services will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Visitation will take place Friday, October 17, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at 11:00 a.m. There will be no graveside service.

A funeral service will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM. A visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery in Singer, LA.
