- Bonnie Bee Hughes Lane, 82, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, inCenter, Texas. She was born November 8, 1942, in Center, Texas toVelton B Hughes and Bonnie Ruth Franks Hughes. All are welcome tojoin the family for a committal service Tuesday, November 4 at 11:00a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery on County Road 1470 betweenCenter and Timpson.
- Patricia Ilene Busby Tarver 81, entered eternal rest on November 2, 2025, in LaCamp, LA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Laurel Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Dustin Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in LaCamp. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
- Steven Grant Moore, passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 72. Funeral service at Labby Memorial Funeral Home, 601 5 4th St, Leesville, LA on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
- Virginia Lee Wilson, who left us on October 27, 2025, at the age of 86. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Smyrna Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a public viewing on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Jon Tellifero will officiate the service.
- Ruby Lee Stuckey Cole, left us on November 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Funeral service, which will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of DeRidder. A public viewing will be held earlier that day, starting at 9:30 AM. Brother Steve Thomas will officiate the service. Following the service, Ruby will be laid to rest at Smyrna Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
- Glenda Monica Wilson, 87, of Nederland, passed away on October 31, 2025, at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 12:00pm in the chapel of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Burial will follow the service in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 07, 2025, from 10:00am until the service at 12:00pm.
- Glendon Doyle Hillman, who departed this world on November 1, 2025, at the age of 83. Funeral services will be held on November 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
- DonPatton Matthew "Matt" Pierce, 38, of Pitkin, Louisiana, passed away on October 31, 2025. A memorial service to honor Matt's life will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fort Polk Main Post Chapel. Military honors will be rendered in recognition of his faithful service to the Nation.
