One person was injured in a two vehicle auto accident that occurred late Monday afternoon near the Jasper County Airport, west of town.
Police and other emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Highway 190 and Farm to Market Road 777, shortly after 4:00 pm, when it was reported that the collision involving a Jeep sport utility vehicle and an early model pickup truck had occurred.
The driver of the Jeep was taken by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital, where she was treated for what was said to be minor injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the crash.
