Funeral services for Alishea Yvette McLendon will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. at New Willow Baptist Church with Pastor Ronale Coleman Sr. officiating. Burial will follow the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
DonPatton Matthew "Matt" Pierce, 38, of Pitkin, Louisiana, passed away on October 31, 2025. A memorial service to honor Matt's life will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fort Polk Main Post Chapel. Military honors will be rendered in recognition of his faithful service to the Nation.
