Visitation for Nancy Carol McDaniel Lynch will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at First Baptist Church, located at 502 E. Columbia Street in San Augustine. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at First Baptist Church with Bro. Elton Goodwin officiating. Interment will Ce at Liberty Hill Memorial Garden in San Augustine. Charles Edward Saunders, passed away on May 4,2025. He was 85. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday May 6th at 12:00 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Visitation will start at 11:30 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday. Burial will follow in the Rosepine Cemetery. Marjorie L. Nelson, 97, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in DeRidder, Louisiana. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5-8 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder followed by additional visitation Wednesday from noon until 1 PM at First United Methodist Church where friends can gather together at 1 PM officiated by Pastor Laraine Waughtal. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery Richie Hayes Young, Jr., a beloved Father, Brother, Paw Paw and Uncle, passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 72. There will be a public viewing at the Rosepine United Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Reverend Gary Bankson and Reverend Kenneth Gibson will officiate the service. Richie will be laid to rest following the service at Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin, LA. She was born on March 24, 1949, to Jefferson and Charity Foshee. Ella dedicated her life to caring for others, and always making sure her family was taken care of. Ella is survived by her loving children, Misty Cole of Junction, LA, Hilton "Ray" Higginbotham and wife Darla of Vidor TX., and Dana Loftin of DeRidder, LA. Eight grandchildren, and Eighteen Great-grandchildren. Her family will forever remember her warmth, strength, and the light she brought into their lives. Ella was preceded in death by her parents; Jefferson Foshee and Charity Foshee, husband; Hilton "Donk" Higginbotham, one child; Jon Paul Higginbotham, and siblings; Harlon Foshee, Clara Fowler, and Annette Foshee. Visitation will be held for Sidney Earl Childress Sr., age 84, on Thursday, May 8, 2025 11:00AM - 12:00PM at Jeane's Funeral Service in Leesville, LA. Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon also at Jeane's. Burial will follow the service at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetary. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home for Ella Mae Foshee Loftin 76 years old, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in DeRidder LA. The family will have a private memorial service set on a later date. A private family gathering will be held at a later date for Joseph "KB" Kelton Baggett, 59, who passed away on May 4, 2025, in Alexandria, Louisiana. No services are planned at this time for Brett Allan Richard who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 69, in his home in Anacoco, Louisiana.
