A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Jonathan Comeaux will officiate the service. Burial will follow the service at Beauregard Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the start of the service. Lavell "Pete" Lee Johnson, 81 years old, of Pitkin, Louisiana, went to heaven on May 14, 2025. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in DeRidder, Louisiana. Following the service, Pete will be laid to rest in Lone Star Cemetery located in Pitkin, Louisiana. Visitation will be until the time of service on Tuesday at 1:00 PM. Lelan Lee "Buddy" Self, 94, went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Labby Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana. Graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco, Louisiana, with Pastor Mark Christian officiating.
