- Mary Nell Bennett, of Anacoco, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on June 6, 2026 at Byrd Regional Hospital. The funeral service will also be held at East Leesville Baptist Church on Monday, June 8 at 10am with visitation being held from 9am until time of service. A private family burial will follow at the Leesville Cemetery
- Kenneth Wayne Smith, affectionately known as "KW," age 78, of LaCamp, Louisiana, passed away to his Heavenly home on June 5, 2026. A service to celebrate the life of Kenneth Wayne Smith will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana. Burial will follow at LaCamp Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
- Lisa Michelle Brister Smith, who left us on June 4, 2026, at the age of 59. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, with a public viewing taking place earlier that day at 10:00 AM. Lisa will be laid to rest following the service at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
