Merle R. Schmidt, 89, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Friday, June 6. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 12, at Highland Mennonite Church in DeRidder, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Sylvia Ann Hebert Nichols, who left us on June 10, 2025, at the age of 67. Funeral services will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, where family and friends can pay their respects on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at a Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA. Brother Roger Longoria will officiate the service.
Visitation for Daniel Lee Barrington will begin at 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the East Leesville Baptist Church with funeral service to follow on Friday at 11 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow the service in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Anacoco.
LTC (R) Daniel H "Dan" Kinsinger passed away on June 6, 2025 he was 76 years old. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville.

Burial will follow at Lewis New Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
Herman Joseph Brevelle, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 8, 2025 at his home in Marksville, Louisiana. He was 84 years old. Services will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 with visitation at 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside military service will be held immediately afterwards at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
