- A Funeral service celebrating the life of Carol Dean Devall Gaddis, 83, will be held at 3:00 p.m., June 12, 2026, at Wallace Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Jinks and Bro. Dean Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Ridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
- Matthew Freeman Mathews, 21, passed away on June 6, 2026. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, in the San Augustine Cowboy Church, located at 539 FM 711 in San Augustine, Texas. Officiating will be Charles Sharp. Visitation will be Friday, June 12, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Augustine Cowboy Church in San Augustine. Interment will be in the Thomas Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas.
- Visitation for Herbert Lee Rhodes Feast, passed away on Sunday, May 24,2026 in Richardson, Texas will take place at the Starlight Missionary Baptist church on June 13th beginning at 10 a.m. Services follow visitation at 11 a.m. also at the church.
- Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home for Cathy Dee Buchanan Clark, age 73, of DeRidder, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026. Service will be announced at a later date.
- Swinney McCain, Jr., a beloved figure in our community, who left us on June 8, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on November 14, 1960, in Bon Wier, Texas. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Swinney's life during a funeral service at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. A public viewing will take place on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the service at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Belgrade Cemetery in Bon Wier, TX.
