  • Funeral visitation and services will be held for Lawrence Duncan Jr with visitation beginning at 930 a.m. this coming Thursday at the Christian Living Fellowship Church in Leesville. Funeral services will follow at 1130 a.m. also at the church. Burial will follow the service at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetary. Mr Duncan passed away on July 22nd.
  • MSG Kelvin Lynn Thomas Sr., who departed this world on July 24, 2025, at the age of 60. A funeral service will take place at St. Paul Baptist Church in Jennings, LA on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM, preceded by a public viewing from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Reverend Pernell R. Trent, Sr. will officiate the service. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at 12:30 PM at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
  • Rosalind Anita Jeans Maricelli, a cherished soul and beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. The graveside service will be Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Meadows Cemetery in Merryville, LA. She will then be laid to rest at Meadows Cemetery in Merryvill
  • Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Bill Gene Hilton, 90 years old passed away. Funeral services for Bill will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Lacamp Church of God with Reverends Shawn Waggoner and Tim Norris officiating. The burial will follow in Lacamp Church of God Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Lacamp Church of God on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
  • Curliss "Slim" Joseph Williams Sr., passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 90. A celebration of Curliss's life will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9-10 AM. Curliss will be laid to rest at Hopewell Cemetery in DeRidder, LA following the service.
  • Brad Briggs passed away July 21, 2025. A celebration of life will be held August 9, 2025 at 5:00 PM at the home of his sister, Melissa.
