- Mary Joy Bobbitt passed away July 13, 2026, in Lufkin, Texas at the age of 94. She was born April 20, 1932, in `an Augustine County, Texas to the late Alfonzo Iza "Fonzie" and Mary Esper Robbins. Funeral services will start at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street in Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Don Lofton officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service.
- Sheldon Young, passed away at the age of 87. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Myers Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will continue Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of service in the Chapel.
- Glenda Jean Funderburk Dowden, age 79, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Leesville on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 6-8 p.m., and Friday, July 17, 2026, from 10-11 a.m. A Celebration of Glenda's life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Leesville and will be officiated by Bro. Darin Worthington. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
- Paulette Kent Flack, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, who departed this world on July 11, 2026, at the age of 80. A service to celebrate Paulette's life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 2:00PM in Myers Colonial Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 12:00PM until the time of service in the chapel. Service will be officiated by Brother Garrett Fuselier and Brother Garrett Paul Fuselier.
