- Mr. A.E. "Jake" Whitton, age 93, of San Augustine. Texas, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 3:0010 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine, Texas. Funeral services are set for 11.00 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel with Larry Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Memorial Garden.
- Tom Fragale, 83, passed away Friday January 23, 2026 at his home in Broaddus, TX. He is the widower of Claudette (Asselin) Fragale. They shared 45 years together until her passing April 10, 2012. A memorial service will be held in Connecticut. Friends and family will be notified once arrangements have been made.
- Frances Jean (Howard) Collins, affectionately known as "Cissi" or "Fran" to most, passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 75 in her home in San Augustine. Arrangements are being handled by Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine. A private inurnment at Pickard Cemetery will be planned for a later date for friends, loved ones, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. Francis passed away January 21, 2026, in Alexandria, Louisiana at the age of 78

- Priscilla Mae Williams, born December 7, 1962, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, peacefully entered eternal rest on January 22, 2026. Funeral services will be held on January 31, 2026, at Church of the Living God Temple #42 in Pascagoula, Mississippi, under the direction of Unity Funeral Home.
