- Mr. Robert Wayne Baker, age 63, of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at CHI St. Luke's Medical Center in Lufkin, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p m. at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel.
- Chelsea Danielle (Wall) Harvey, age 34, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at her residence. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, located at 310 FM 83 East in Broaddus, Texas. A Celebration of Life memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Trinity
- Jo-Etta Gay Richardson, 78, of DeRidder, LA, passed away on December 26, 2025. Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2026, from 10am-1pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, January 2, 2026, at 1 pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Interment will be at Rosepine Cemetery. Rev. George Lee Glass will officiate.
- Eugene Parson, who passed away on December 24, 2025, in Deridder, Louisiana at the age of 82. A funeral service will be held in honor of Eugene on January 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the New Testament Apostolic Church. Prior to the service, a public viewing will take place at the church starting at 10:00 AM. Following the service, Eugene will be laid to rest in Beauregard Cemetery in Deridder, Louisiana.
- Peggy Salter Green, 88, of Rosepine, Louisiana. She passed away peacefully on Sunday. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Both services will be held at Myers—Colonial Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana.
- Judy L. Summerell, 78, of Natchitoches, La., went peacefully to her heavenly home on Friday, December 26, 2025. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 3, 2025, at the Hornbeck First Baptist Church with services starting at 1:00 pm.
- James Kennedy Koss known lovingly as Jim, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 424 Hwy 111 Merryville, LA, on Sunday January 4th, 2026, at 2:00 PM, led by his dear friend and pastor, Bro. Jim Miers.
- David Awa Mawae passed away at the age of 80. Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held onMonday, January 5th from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
- Beverly Faye Keel, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away on December 28, 2025. A memorial service to celebrate Beverly's life will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, with a public viewing preceding the service at 2:00 PM.
- Brian Eugene Halstead, died on December 27, 2025, at the age of 56 in DeRidder, Louisiana. A funeral service to celebrate Brian's life will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, with a public viewing prior to the service starting at 11:00 AM. Father Travis will officiate the service. Following the service, Brian will be laid to rest at 1:30 PM at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
