officiating. The burial will follow in Prewitts Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Austin, Cody Austin, Logan

Jerry Jackson Headd, Jr. was born June 19, 1951 to Thomas Headd, Sr. and Betty in Malden, MO. Thomas passed away on February 4, 2026 at Sabine Retirement and Rehabilitation. Thomas was a proud service man of the U. S. Army. He served for 15 years and served in the Vietnam War. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February, 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Fort Jesup Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday, February, 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, LA. - James Lee Pelt passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 80, James was a lifelong resident of DeRidder. Visitation today at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be immediately following at Spring Creek Cemetery. Pastor Dalton Isbell will be officiating at the services.
- Charles Sidney Scott Sr., 83 of DeRidder, LA was called to his Heavenly home on February 2, 2026. Visitation will be held today, at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church, 1326 Muldrow Street, DeRidder, LA. Reverend Alvin Peters, Sr. will officiate the service. Burial will follow the service at Old Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
