CAMERON PARISH, La. (KPLC) - A driver shot themselves after a chase through multiple parishes this morning, police said.
Multiple law enforcement agencies chased the vehicle through Beauregard, Calcasieu, and Cameron Parish, where the chase ended, according to Louisiana State Police Troop D. The driver shot themselves around 10 a.m. on Parish Line Road.
The driver was brought to a hospital with serious injuries, state police said. No officers fired shots or were injured.
No one else was in the vehicle being pursued, police said.
