- Larry Nichols, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 in Hemphill, Texas. A Celebration of Life reception will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00p.m. with personal remarks at 3:45 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home.
- Darrell Mattison McDonald, Sr. of DeRidder, Louisiana, 90, passed away on February 22, 2026. Funeral Services held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 2:00PM. All services will be at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. A Burial Service will follow at Beauregard Cemetery on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
- Vergie Carpenter, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, in DeRidder, Louisiana, at the age of 85. Funeral visitation will be held Friday at the Labby memorial funeral home in Deridder from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services are Saturday at 1 p.m. also at Labby. Burial will follow the service in the Whitaker Cemetery.
- Jerry Green passed away February 22, 2026, at the age of 89. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, with Bro. John Northway officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28th from 11:00 until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hornbeck, Louisiana.
- Lila Kathleen Chance, 50, of Leesville, LA passed away in the early morning February 17th, 2026. A memorial service celebrating Lila's life will be held at the Vernon Council on Aging Sunday, March 1st @ 2:00 PM with a reception following. Bro. Randall Bryan will be officiating.
- Betty Carolyn Gaskin Taylor, 77, of Anacoco, Louisiana, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Leesville, Louisiana. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 PM on March 7, 2026, at Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco, Louisiana.
