- Funeral services honoring the life of Mark Dennis Remedies will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m.
- Funeral services for Ronnie Brummerloh will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Carson Baptist Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 4:30 at Carson Baptist Church.
- Gracie B. Shaw, age 79, of Leesville, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on February 10, 2026. Gracie's cremation was entrusted to Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville.
- Mike Ellis Brister, who was called home to the Lord on February 10, 2026, at the age of 62. Visitation will be held today, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor George Lee Glass and Brother Lonnie Jordan will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
- Dorothy Hickman of New Llano, Louisiana, passed away February 11th. A visitation will be held at Jeane's Funeral Home, in Leesville, today from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will then travel to Texas, where a celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at Bellmead Funeral Home, in Waco, Texas, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, with visitation from 12:00 p.m until the time of service. - Jerrell Dowden passed away at Byrd Hospital on February 7, 2026. He was 71 years old. Funeral services will be held on today at 2:00 P.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Bro. Jason Nolde and Bro. C.W. Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Cemetery.
