TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Two teenagers are receiving medical care after being shot on Wednesday night.
According to Tyler Police PIO Andy Erbaugh, an aggravated Assault was called in to dispatchers at 9:03 p.m.
The incident was initially reported to have happened in the 1000 block of W. Gentry in front of the Banana Tree Club. However, later clarification indicated that the shooting did not happen at or inside the club.
According to club owner J.C. Johnson, the shooting happened at a nearby gas station. One of the teenagers who was shot there ran away from the gas station and collapsed in the parking lot of the Banana Tree Club. Someone there called 911 to get help for that victim.
A 14-year-old victim was shot several times in the leg and another 14-year-old victim was shot once in the arm, Erbaugh said.
EMS is on scene with the victims. A large police presence was seen on Gentry in front of a gas station, Williams Chicken and the club, as well. Police tape surrounded much of the area as police investigate.
A suspect vehicle in the shooting is a white car that left headed west on Bow Street, Erbaugh said.
He said no suspect has been detained at this time. Detectives and crime scene investigators are on their way to the scene.
