- Funeral services honoring the life of Charlote Jaquetta Dewil Dailey will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 10 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in the Toro Community where Jaquetta was a lifelong member, burial will be immediately after the service in the church cemetery. Visitation for friends will be held on Monday, February 9, beginning at 6:00 pm until service time.
- Funeral services for Shirley Ann Williams, 90, of Westlake, LA, formerly of Hornbeck, LA, will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Prewitt's Chapel with Rev. Nick Hilton and Rev. - James R. "Jimmy" Blanton, at 83 years of age, passed away on Friday, February 6, in Tyler, Texas. Funeral services are set for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Harvey Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Wade Bryan and Bro. Lamar Denby officiating. Committal services will follow at Runnels Cemetery with Bro. Thomas Foster officiating.
- Ms. Jane Denise Hicks, 69, of Yellowpine, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Lufkin, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Yellowpine Baptist Church, Pastor T.A. Lane, located at the intersection of State Hwy. 87 and FM 2343 in the Yellowpine community of Sabine County, Texas. (125 Scrappin Valley Road)
- Richard French, 73 of Jasper passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, peacefully at his home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- Richard Manaen Rockhold was born on March 21, 1940 in Jonesboro, Louisiana. He passed away on January 31, 2026. Funeral services will be held at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, today at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.

- Joyce Denell Collins Weeks, 82, of Rosepine, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. Born on June 27, 1943, on Horse Branch, in Sugartown, LA. A public viewing at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church tomorrow, at 12:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest later that day at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Brother Gary Bankson and Brother Cole Weeks will officiate the service.
