- Eric Steven Sparks, 45, was born July 23, 1980, in Nacogdoches, TX to Terry Odell and Susan Rhymes Sparks. He fell asleep in death on March 12, 2026, in West Baton Rouge Parish, LA, leaving behind a lifetime of memories with the people who loved and cherished him most. Eric resided in Denham Springs, LA at the time of his death. A private memorial service will be held at a later date, with Chris Finley officiating.
- Jesus Vazquez, 48, of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Harvest Church in Jasper.
- Tabatha Martin Blankenship, age 58, of Nacogdoches County, Texas, passed away April 2, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Impact Cowboy Church, located at 415 FM 2112, Nacogdoches, with Pastor Stan King and Pastor Rex Crenshaw officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Black Jack Cemetery, located on County Road 350.
