- Irvin Clark, a beloved family man, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, at the age of 85. A public viewing will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the same location. Michael Clark will officiate the service. Irvin will be laid to rest following the service at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA.
- Funeral services for Edward Michael "Mike" Keuten who passed away on April 22nd. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at the St Joseph's Catholic Church in DeRidder beginning at 1030. Burial will follow the service at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetary in Leesville.
- Mary Blanche Perkins Wilson, 94, of Leesville, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026. Funeral services will be held at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026 with Bro. Terry Ward officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 30 at 9:30 a.m. until services. The burial will be at Cooper Cemetery.
- Funeral services for Jackie Dale Self will take place Saturday with visitation beginning at the First Baptist Church of Leesville from 11-1 and funeral services beginning at one p.m..
- Billie Sue Stark Jordan, age 83. Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother George Swain will officiate the service. Burial will follow the service at Burr Ferry Cemetery.
