- A graveside service for Betty Rose Miller will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Evans Community Cemetery, under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. Betty Rose Miller passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 89
- Irvin Clark passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, at the age of 85. A public viewing will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the same location. Michael Clark will officiate the service. Irvin will be laid to rest following the service at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA.
- Sherri Annette Perkins, 56, of Ville Platte, LA, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026. Visitation will be Monday, April 27 from 11am-2pm at Grace Church. Funeral Service will be Monday, April 27 at 2pm at Grace Church. Interment will be at Lewis Cemetery. Rev. Cody King and Bro. Wilkie Richmond will officiate.
- Funeral services for Edward Michael "Mike" Keuten who passed away on April 22nd. Visitation will begin tomorrow from 5-8 p.m. at Labby Memorial of deridder. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. tomorrow. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at the St Joseph's Catholic Church in DeRidder beginning at 1030. Burial will follow the service at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetary in Leesville.
- Penny Erskine Fincher, 68, of Merryville, Louisiana, passed away on April 23, 2026. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
