- Larry Fulks passed away on April 13, 2026, in Many, Louisiana. Funeral services for Larry will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Simpson Baptist Church with Reverend Houston "Tully" Burns officiating. The burial with military honors will follow in Pine Island Cemetery in Simpson. A visitation will be held at Simpson Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
- Laura Kendrick McDade, 66, of Rosepine, LA passed away Friday, April 10, 2026. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 15 from 3-6pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, April 15 at 6pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Williams will officiate.
- Bishop Steven R. Thomas, Sr. passed away on April 6, 2026 in Houston, Texas. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at House of Prayer in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
- Vroni Lynn Thornock (Gautsche), who passed peacefully March 6, 2026, in Leesville, Louisiana, at the age of 79. A memorial service for Vroni will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Jeane's in Leesville from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
- Julie Marie Gore-Dukes, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 17, 2026. Visitation will take place starting at 11:00 A.M until service at the funeral home.
- Dustin Clyde Alexander, 35, of DeRidder, LA passed away Friday, April 10, 2026. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
