A Zwolle man died died Sunday morning when he crashed his 18-wheeler south of Mansfield, state police said.
The crash claimed the life of Rakeem Brazile, 29.
It happened just before 7 a.m. on state Highway 522 at True Vine Road. Troopers said Brazile was driving a 2019 Volvo tractor-trailer eastbound when he ran off the road and hit an embankment.
Brazile, who was restrained, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Impairment is not suspected to be a factor in this crash; however, routine toxicology samples were taken and submitted for analysis. The crash remains under investigation.
