The Woodville Eagles have advanced to the 3-A Division II State Semifinal after a 40-7 win over Daingerfield on Friday night in Palestine. This is the first time in the history of Woodville football that they’ve advanced beyond the second round of the playoffs. Woodville, now 12-2 on the season, will face Tidehaven, a school located about 65 miles southwest of Houston. The game will be Thursday at 7:00 at Randall Reed Stadium in New Caney. The winner will advance to the 3-A Division II State Championship Game to be played on Thursday, December 19th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
