The Orange County Sheriff’s Department says a woman died after suffering several stab wounds late Wednesday night, and her former boyfriend has been detained by deputies.
It happened shortly after 11:00 in the 200 block of Med David Road, which is off of Interstate 10 just west of Orange.
The report said deputies responded to a report of a disturbance and arrived to find 28-year-old Jacqueline Michelle Jeffrey on the ground, and her former boyfriend nearby and he also had a laceration to his body. Jeffrey and the man were both taken by ambulance to a hospital where she later died.
The man was detained by deputies and charges are pending.
