SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) — The woman who was killed in a wreck on Linwood Avenue has now been named by the coroner’s office. On Monday (May 27), the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office announced that 33-year-old Nia D. Reed was killed in the crash Sunday (May 26) on Linwood Avenue in Shreveport. The wreck occurred around 2:20 p.m. near Linwood Avenue at Parker Street. That’s in Shreveport’s Caddo Heights area. The coroner’s office says Reed was heading south when somehow, she lost control of the car, it veered off the road and hit a light pole. Reed was taken to Ochsner LSU Health, where she died at 2:52 p.m.
