A woman from Port Arthur died in one vehicle auto accident that occurred on Saturday morning on Highway 69 at Lake Arthur Drive. Police there said the woman died after the she was thrown out of the vehicle when the car rolled over. It was the second time this month that someone died in Jefferson County after being thrown out of a vehicle during an accident. The name of the victim has not been released pending formal notification of next of kin. Jefferson County Justice of the Peace Ben Collins Sr. has not released the name of the 54-year victim pending formal notification of next of kin.
